About Us

We’re located in the heart of Lake County, Mundelein, with ease of access from any location as we are conveniently located near one of the busiest intersections of all Lake County (Rt 60 & Rt 45). We’re a martial arts school that specializes in Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for kids. Jiu-jitsu is a grappling martial art where the main focus is to get the fight down to the ground where the jiu-jitsu practitioner is able to subdue their attacker with the use of joint locks and choke holds. One of the main principles of jiu-jitsu is that a weaker, smaller individual is able to subdue a much larger and aggressive attacker through the use of leverage and technique.

Mission Statement

Lake County is on a mission to provide students with the highest level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training possible, in a safe, friendly and clean environment. Lake County Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has a zero meathead tolerance policy. We work hard at providing our students with a safe, friendly, ego-free training environment that promotes improvement, mutual learning and accomplishment.
