How Martial Arts improves your child’s grades…

I get questions from parents sometimes about how martial arts improves your child’s grades…kids-better-grades

It seems some people think it’s just about self-defense and exercise 😉

Well, it’s actually very simple…

In martial arts, we help children learn these three powerful qualities:

Respect – Discipline – Focus

And we do it in a really fun way 🙂

By learning enhanced self-respect, and respect for others, children learn the value of accomplishing goals. They learn that life is better when they do great in whatever activities they take part in.  Then, we teach them the discipline it takes to reach those goals. We show them how to dedicate time and energy – because goals don’t reach themselves.  And then, we teach them improved focus. We help them discover how to fully concentrate. And we do this by having them learn one technique at a time – and mastering that technique before moving on.

These qualities then seep into every area of their lives.  They’re more focused and respectful at school… at home… with their friends…

It’s only natural that their grades improve, too. In fact, children often improve from Ds to Bs and As.  From Fs to Cs and Bs. And from Bs to As.  I’ve even seen kids go from low Fs to high As.

It’s only a matter of time and practice 😉

Is your child enrolled in one of our classes? And on track to improving their focus, discipline, and respect? (while having a ton of fun!!)
